Tom K Classic – A Legendary Day in Honor of a Racing Icon

On May 28th, we had the privilege of hosting the Tom K Classic – a one-of-a-kind driving event celebrating the extraordinary career and legacy of Tom Kristensen. The event was created in collaboration with the legendary brand, Classic Driver.
Held in Hobro, Tom’s hometown, this day brought together friends, family, former teammates, partners, and the people who’ve been part of his journey through motorsport. From intimate moments to high-speed fun, the Tom K Classic was a true reflection of the man himself – legendary, warm-hearted, and full of drive.
Coffee, Cars & Kristensen
The day kicked off at Tom’s private home, where guests were welcomed with specialty coffee from Sacred Coffee, featuring a limited edition Tom Kristensen label, and energy bars from Simply Chocolate – aptly named “Speedy Tom.”
After coffee and catch-ups, engines roared to life as the group set off in style, following a custom-designed roadbook crafted specifically for the day. Even better – Tom had personally designed the driving route, showcasing his favorite roads and memories around the region.
A Route Full of Meaning
From Holstebro to BramslevGaard, the drive was not just scenic – it was personal. Each turn in the road reflected a part of Tom’s past, with stories shared and laughs exchanged along the way.
At BramslevGaard, guests enjoyed a relaxed lunch surrounded by nature before shifting gears into competition mode: a spirited go-kart session, where even the most experienced racers brought their A-game.
Back Home: Drinks, Dinner & Classic Vibes
Upon returning to Tom’s home base, guests were welcomed back by the Bond Street Gin team, who served up signature cocktails and “Tom K’s Draft Beer” for some post-race refreshment. The vibe? Laid-back and filled with camaraderie.
The evening rolled on with dinner served by Café K, right in Tom’s own garage – a perfect mix of elegance and homegrown charm. Bond Street kept the drinks flowing as stories were shared, prizes awarded, and memories made.
A Day to Remember
The Tom K Classic wasn’t just an event – it was a celebration of a life lived at full speed, and a heartfelt thank you to those who’ve supported the journey.
